Speak was very well paced and I never found the story to be dragging or boring. Book Review for 'Speak' by Laurie Halse Anderson I read Speak as part of a school literature circle book and I enjoyed it.
I would recommend this book to the age group ofbecause the theme, (to my surprise) is a little bit more mature, yet it's at an easier reading level.
The book is about a girl, Melinda, who stops speaking at school. The Comfort Suites hotel is located just five miles from Lamar University. This hotel is minutes from the Art Museum of Southeast Texas, the McFaddin-Ward House, the Clifton Steamboat Museum and the Beaumont Civic Center Complex, home of the Jefferson Theater and The Julie Rogers Theater for the Performing Arts.
